SHIPPING POLICY

My go-so for shipping is Canada Post/USPS. I've always had success with this method, but if you prefer something else I'm happy to discuss alternatives. There is a size limit for the the postal service, however, so larger paintings will ship via an alternate.

I am very careful when I package artwork, but I advise choosing an option which included insurance (and require it for original work valued over $100). These options also include tracking by default.

If you're within a reasonable distance, studio pickup is encouraged! I'm also happy to arrange to meet you to arrange in-person delivery.

RETURN POLICY

It's important to me that you're completely satisfied with your purchase. If you receive your painting and are not happy with the quality, I will refund the purchase price, less shipping. You are responsible for paying for insured, tracked return shipping. When I receive it back in undamaged condition, I will refund the purchase price and related taxes. If the work is damaged, please contact me immediately so we can work towards filing an insurance claim so I can provide a refund.

For commissions, you will have opportunity to approve the final work before shipping, and comment on adjustments that need to be made. If you are still not happy, you are not required to pay the balance on the painting, but the deposit is non-refundable to subsidize some of the cost of time and materials. If I feel the painting is marketable, I reserve the right to sell the work. If I am able to sell the work and recover my costs, I will refund your deposit.

Please note, if you do not take advantage of the approval process, I am unable to provide a refund once you have accepted the finished artwork.

PAYMENT METHOD

My store is set up to accept payment via PayPal and credit cards (through Stripe). Canadian residents are welcome to pay via cheque or e-transfer – just contact me and we'll set it up. If you're picking up in person, or we're meeting for delivery, I'm also happy to accept cash.
