"Shimmer," original oil painting

Beauty and grace to emanate from this original oil on canvas. I used a limited palette over a blue-toned canvas for this piece and I love the effect. It seems to capture that shimmer of her coat.

The model for this painting was my own horse, a chestnut Thoroughbred mare, aply named Gracie.
